This service tool program can calculate:

• straight pipes according to DIN 2413-1 (October 1993 edition)
• ERNE Tees according to TRD 301 (August 1996 edition)
• elbows according to TRD 301 appendix 2 (April 1992 edition)

The starting point for calculating Elbows and Tees is the thickness of the connecting pipe wall. This wall thickness is either specified or is calculated based on knowledge with respect to the material properties and the load (interior pressure). The Elbows and Tees are then dimensioned to withstand the same amount of inside pressure as the connectiong pipe.
